What is Preferred Business Services?

Preferred Business Services, Inc. is a locally owned and operated business established to serve the community and assist individuals with their business and tax needs.  Located in Walnut Cove, North Carolina, Preferred Business Services, Inc. was established in 2020 by Tamara Dodson.  Tamara has always had a vision of helping people and wanting to make sure that they understand their personal situation in order to better themselves and be successful.  Preferred Business Services, Inc. was created to help ensure that we help clients understand their own individual tax needs as well as being able to help those businesses maintain their competitive advantage while having assistance with their day to day operations.

Who are we?

TAMARA DODSON, OWNER
Tamara has lived in Walnut Cove her entire life.  She is a graduate of South Stokes High School and Winston Salem State University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.  Tamara is married to her high school sweetheart and they have three children.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and furbabies, as well as being involved in the community.

Tamara has been in the customer service industry for more than 15 years and she has been working in the Tax Industry for the past nine years.  Tamara is an Enrolled Agent and Annual Filing Season Preparer.  She is able to assist you with any of your tax and/or bookkeeping needs.  Tamara also is able to assist you with any letters or notices that you may received from the IRS or State Taxing Authorities.  She calls the IRS regularly and is not intimidated by them.  Give her a call today if she can help you in any way.
